The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly has taken a significant step in enhancing security and governance in the municipality with the passing out of 31 newly trained Municipal Guards. The guards completed a rigorous 30-day intensive training program in basic security management, equipping them with the necessary skills to support the Assembly in maintaining law and order, protecting public property, and enforcing sanitation and traffic regulations.

The training program, which included both physical and theoretical components, was designed to prepare the guards for the demands of their role. The guards have demonstrated their commitment and resilience, and are now fully equipped to serve the municipality. The Assembly’s efforts to strengthen community security and improve municipal governance have taken a significant leap forward with the deployment of these new guards.

In his address at the passing out ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Frank Nkansah, commended the recruits for their dedication and resilience throughout the training. He admonished them to uphold discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of commitment to duty, urging them to serve as exemplary public officers in their respective zones.

The MCE’s charge serves as a reminder of the important role the guards will play in maintaining security and order in the municipality.

The brief ceremony was graced by distinguished officers, including ASP Bright Duku Kaakyire, Shukura Police Commander; ASP Emmanuel Kwame Akpalu, Mamprobi MTTD Commander; Inspector Fred Azadekor; and L/Cpl Francis Kabu. Also present were the Municipal Security Coordinators, Mr. Nathaniel Quaye and Mr. Frank Boateng, who played key roles in supporting the training and coordination process.
