The Regional sports director, Mr. Iddrisu Ewuntomah has commended the efforts of the Greater Accra Handball Association (GAHA) for developing, promoting and raising the level of the game high in the region despite all the obstacles.
Speaking at the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday at the Air force base in Burma Camp, Mr. Iddrisu Ewuntomah stated that without the hardworking executives and stakeholders, handball would have been dead.
The director urged GAHA to extend their tentacles to other districts in the region in order to promote, develop and unearth more talents.
He added that the National Sports Authority will keep supporting handball and that their doors are always opened.
The Greater Accra Handball Association are the organizers of the annual Gala cup, League, Knockout cup and the Champion of Champions Cup.
