The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee is set to present its final report to President John Dramani Mahama next week as part of efforts to investigate corruption and recover misappropriated public funds.
The committee, established to validate claims of state resource mismanagement, has processed over 700 petitions from the public.
President Mahama emphasized that the report would be handed over to investigative agencies for further action.
“Those currently in office must understand that they will be held to the same standard as past administrations. Next week, the ORAL Committee will submit its report to me, and I will forward it to the relevant investigative bodies to take action against those who have misused the nation’s resources,” he stated during his thank-you tour in the Central Region.
Meanwhile, regarding the stalled Komenda Sugar Factory project, the President has instructed the Minister of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry to provide a detailed status report to accelerate its completion.
“We are committed to ensuring the project’s success so the Central Region can become Ghana’s leading producer of sugar,” Mahama affirmed.
