Eight local communities will battle it out for the ultimate prize at this year’s Inter-community football gala scheduled to happen on Saturday 28th September, 2019 at the Mambrouk park at Banana-Inn in Dansoman.
This years competition would see these communities fighting for supremacy and bragging rights.
Shakabanka fc from Larterbiokorshie, Owaaman fc from Russia, Ablekuma Grace fc from Shukura, Blue Crush fc from Bubiashie, Kantudu Stars from Sabon-Zongo, Agogo Stars from Larterbiokorshie, Amanie Wekukpee fc from Mamprobi and Kings Babies from Larterbiokorshie are the teams participating in the competition.
The gala which would be played on a knockout basis will see Amanie Wekukpee play against Shakabanka fc, Agogo Stars against Blue Crush, Kantudu fc squares off with Owaaman fc and Ablekuma Grace fc up against kings Babies fc in the first, second, third and fourth matches respectively.
The winner of each game progresses to the semi final and the finals played after.
High profile sports personalities are expected to grace the occasion.
There will also be prizes such trophies, medals, cash prizes and certificates at stake to deserving winners.
